What's New, November 2024

Dec 1, 2024

Hello everyone!

Welcome to this month's Delvy update. To those of you who are new, welcome! And to those who have been here for a while, thanks for your continued support.

This month, I've rolled out significant improvements to Delvy's search and document editing capabilities. Here's what's new.

Unified Search and Document Creation

I'm excited to introduce a seamless integration of Delvy's search and document creation features. Now, you can start your research with a question and transform your findings into structured documents — all in one workflow. This integration is great for:

  • Converting research findings into a concise email
  • Developing literature review outlines
  • Summarizing information for a report

Getting started is simple: just chat with Delvy about what you want to create. Your new document will open alongside the chat, allowing for editing while maintaining your search context. All of your documents are also available through the 'Documents' tab.

Document Editing via Chat

You can also ask Delvy to edit existing documents. Just tell Delvy what changes you'd like to make through the chat. Whether it's restructuring paragraphs, adding citations, or expanding on specific points, Delvy can help. Pro tip: The more specific your instructions, the better the results.

Chat Suggestions

To make the experience more intuitive, I've added suggestion bubbles at the bottom of the chat window. These contextual prompts, such as "Create a document", help guide your next steps. I'll be expanding these suggestions as I continue to develop new features.

Share Your Feedback

I'm eager to hear about your experience with these new features, especially the integrated document creation workflow. Please try it out and share your thoughts through the feedback icon (question mark) in the bottom left corner of the app.

Thank you for being part of the journey!
